HeyReach Expert Program
A builder community, not a certification factory
by Shawn Tenam
What the Expert Program Is
The HeyReach expert program is a community of practitioners who use the tool daily, run real campaigns, and have direct influence over the product roadmap. It is not a certification you pay for. You earn it by demonstrating real usage and results.
Experts get early access to new features, direct lines to the product team, and a seat at the table for roadmap discussions. Feature requests from experts do not go into a support ticket queue. They go to the team building the product.
PATTERN
How It Differs from Other Cert Programs
Most "partner" or "expert" programs in GTM tooling follow the same formula: pay a fee, watch videos, pass a quiz, get a badge. The badge signals that you watched the videos, not that you can run campaigns.
The HeyReach model is closer to open source contributor programs. You earn recognition through contribution, not payment. The experts are the people who push the tool hardest, find the edge cases, share their workflows, and help other users in the community.
This creates a different dynamic. The experts are invested because they chose to be, not because they paid to be. The feedback is better. The community is smaller but more engaged. The signal-to-noise ratio is high.
Who It Is For
GTM engineers running LinkedIn outreach as part of their stack. Agency operators managing multiple client campaigns. Solo operators who use LinkedIn as a primary outbound channel.
If you run 3+ active HeyReach campaigns and have opinions about what the product should do next, the expert program is built for you. If you want a logo for your LinkedIn bio without doing the work, it is not.
PRO TIP
Why This Model Matters
Tools that listen to enterprise sales teams build for enterprise sales teams. Tools that listen to practitioners build for practitioners.
I have watched this dynamic play out across the GTM stack. Tools go enterprise, pricing goes up, features gate, the community that drove adoption gets deprioritized. The expert program is HeyReach betting on the opposite model. Invest in the builders. Give them influence. Let them shape the product.
Whether it scales depends on whether HeyReach maintains this culture as they grow. For now, it is the most practitioner-aligned program in the LinkedIn automation space.
